About Me

My name is Meital Fligelman, and I would like to share my story on how I developed Queen of The Pets company.  I was Born in 1978, married and a mother of three children. Starting at a very young age, I have always lived at home with dogs and cats. My love for pets is my world.

Already at the age of 12 I volunteered to care of animals in a SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) twice a week. My time experiencing there had made me realize it was my dream to take care of dogs and cats and to rescue pets that were abandoned. My first dog that I have rescued was when I turned 20. I rescued him from a shelter of cruelty to animals. The dog that I rescued was a husky (you can see him in my page). When I took him, he had ticks all over his body. It took me 3 days to take all the ticks out. He was very skinny that you can see his bones. After I fed him, and took care of him for a full year, he started to look and become healthier. My goal is to open a place where I can protect those who were left in the streets until I can find them a warm and a loving home to stay at. Today, people approach me in case of an emergency because they don’t have enough money to save their dog, and if I’m not going to help, they will have a bigger chance of dying. I have a vet who I work with, he helps me do surgeries with cheap prices than other animal hospitals.

Furthermore, I babysit your loved ones (pets) while you are on a vacation or at work. I have a warm and a lovely boarding in my house. The dogs feel like they are in a dream vacation. I give all my love and my strength to them in the most professional and loyal way. I take care of them as a child. I love to pet them, play with them, run with them, take them to a park. While all of this is happening, your dog will be making lots of BFFs. I’m doing everything to make you feel less worried and make you have your best vacation. Queen of The Pets will become your dog’s second home. In the end, after your dog interacts and plays with other dogs, he will arrive home very happy and soooo tired!
